Earthy, sweet, rich & meaty, these burgers are intensely satisfying and surprisingly easy. We used olive oil to cook the onions and butter to cook the mushrooms (mushrooms really benefit from butter’s richness, but too much butter makes the burger too heavy). If you prefer, you can use olive oil for both.

Ingredients

  • Grass-Fed Beef Burger Patties
  • Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
  • Sliced Yellow Onion
  • Coarse Dijon Mustard
  • Burger Buns
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

Toast your burger buns.

Saute the onion slices in olive oil and (separately) the mushrooms in butter. Taste & season with salt & pepper.

Grill or otherwise cook the burger patties to your desired level of doneness.

Spread the mustard on the buns.

Add the patties & top with a heaping pile of onion & mushrooms.

Serve with napkins & enjoy!
